Assistant Manager – Business Development

Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager – Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth through strategic business initiatives. You will work closely with the senior management team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
- Develop Marketing campaigns to drive business with our Digital Marketing Partners.
- Identify and pursue new business partnerships and collaborations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Provide support to senior management in decision-making processes
- Ability to be flexible and work in the warehouse to assist customers and the warehouse team in distributing orders for delivery and pick-ups.
- Use of company software to ensure orders and invoices are 100% correct for trade and cash sale customers.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary Qualification in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in business development or related roles.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
